Speaker: Shabnam Weber

Shabnam Weber is the President of the Tea and Herbal Association of Canada and the Tea Association of the U.S.A. She represents Canada at the UN FAO Intergovernmental Group on Tea as Vice-Chair and co-leads global tea initiatives. Co-founder of the International Alliance for Women in Tea, she is also the author of the Tea Sommelier® program and 101 Teas to Steep Before You Die. Shabnam is pursuing a Master's in Global Public Policy at SOAS, University of London.

Maria Uspenski is the Founder and CEO of The Tea Spot, a women-led B-Corp committed to promoting health and happiness through tea. A cancer survivor turned tea advocate, Maria donates 10% of her company’s profits to wellness-focused nonprofits. She’s a best-selling author and a leading voice in the modern tea movement.
