Speaker: Michael HarneyMichael Harney joined his father, John Harney, at Harney & Sons Teas 38 years ago, taking on the pivotal role of tea buyer. His dedication to the craft leads him to travel throughout Asia and Africa most years to source the finest leaves. In 2008, he authored The Harney & Sons Guide to Tea, solidifying his expertise in the field. Michael holds an undergraduate degree from Cornell University and a graduate degree from Northwestern University. Notably, he also managed the Richmont Hotel on Ontario Street in Chicago during the 1980s. |
